Bank of America card ending in XXXX had two unauthorized transactions totaling XXXX. I wrote the company in XX/XX/2022 to file my fraud assertion. The company removed the amounts and then rebilled them claiming that my address was used as part of the transaction verification. I subsequently wrote back indicating the transactions were not authorized and that they needed to be removed along with any subsequently billed fees and interest. I continued to receive billing statements with the rebilled amounts plus fees and interest now totaling {$180.00}. I received a form letter recently that asked for me to call. Their records will show that I made at least two attempts to have my issue addressed but no phone agent was able to either direct me to the appropriate department or was able to assist with my account. In addition to a full credit for the fraudulent charges and fees, I need written assurance that any subsequent late payment reporting to the credit reporting agencies has been cleared.
