I found a gift card issued by www.giftcardmall.com expiring in XX/XX/2024 Out of 16 digit Visa / Debit card number on front of the card, only nine of them are legible. On the back of the card, the 19 digit number & the security code are all legible. Called the gift card company @ XXXX and opened a case XXXX, they asked for my phone number, email, home address, copy of my driver license and copies of front and back of the card and the purchase receipt. .I don't even remember who gave me the gift card, so I wrote them back letting them know, that I can not find the purchase receipt. They emailed me back, to let me know unless I found and give them a copy of the purchase receipt for the card, they will not be able to give me a replacement card. Wanted to see & check if there is a remedy to this situation and any way to stop the gift card company 's unscrupulous practice?
