CArrington Mortgage, has been very difficult to work with. I applied for forbearance because my business closed due to covid but got denied, then my loan modification request was denied although our monthly income is now only XXXX and our escrow/mortgage is {$690.00}. I was granted 3 months payments through the Homeowners assistance fund plus an additional 3 months that should have carried us until XX/XX/2023, but Carrington has taken that money as 1 monthly payment for XXXX and is threatening to foreclose us again. Carrington has reported late payments although the reasons were covid related, and now we dont qualify for a mortgage refinance. Carrington tsays they did not take that money that they will eventually return it to the state but they are still sending threatening letters when they have the money.
