XX/XX/2019 I was involved in a car accident. Hospital billing department was legally notified that my case was in litigation. They proceeded to forward my bill to Wakefield. Wakefield proceeded to report my bill as collections to all three credit bureaus with out validating the bill with first. They were also legally INFORMED multiple times that my case was in litigation. Called me multiple times, have sent multiple notices XXXX with NO ITEMIZATION and WITH THE WRONG PROVIDER after requesting a itemized bill and validation, including but limited too what was shared with them as I feared my HIPPA RIGHTS might have beeb violated. This company continues to violate my rights according to The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), which protects debtors from harassment, threats, and unfair means of debt collection by debt collectors. This law applies to WAKEFIELD and ASSOCIATES. They continue to refresh the debt on all of my credit reports causing grave damage to my credit and quality of Iife. The unwillingness to temporarily remove the tradelines in question while being in litigation again highlights how aggressive, brazen, and irresponsible this company handles consumer information. WAKEFIELD is not above the law.
