I activated an offer on XXXX on my credit card for a 10 % cash back ( max. {$45.00} ) at XXXX on XX/XX/2022 and made a purchase using said card directly with the merchant same day. Note that the cash back promotion deal only states : " Offer expires XX/XX/2022. Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on third-party services. Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date. '' I inquired with a Bank of America representative about this issue on the evening of XX/XX/XXXX who was unable to resolve my concerns about the deal and told me to call back the following day. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and the Bank of American representative informed me that I was ineligible for the cash back promotion due to the posted date being a day late despite the transaction date being on XX/XX/2022. Please note that the promotion does not specify the date in which the payment needs to be posted by. Only that a payment needs to be made on or before expiration date which should include any pending/processing transactions.
