I was a victim of fraud and {$440.00} was charged fraudulently to my debit card account with Bank of America. XX/XX/XXXX - {$18.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$8.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$110.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$24.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$35.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX {$28.00} to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX to XXXX I rarely use my debit card, I only use my credit card which is which I did not report the charges until XX/XX/XXXX when I saw that my account was almost overdrawn and became aware of these fraudulent charges on my account I called bank of America to report the fraud and opened the claim on XX/XX/XXXX. The credited my account the {$440.00} and said they would investigate the claim. I have never used doordash which anyone with access to my account and investigating these charges could easily verify. On XX/XX/XXXX, Bank of America canceled the credit and took the {$440.00} credits to my account back and they stated that I authorized these charges which was not the case. They were NOT point of sale transactions where a physical card with a pin was used. I called BOA and was told to write a letter and fax it. I wrote a letter and faxed it from a BOA branch on XX/XX/XXXX. I called to follow up on XXXX which is when I was told no letter was received and to re-fax it which I did and I was told that a reconsideration claim would be opened and to call back in XXXX business days. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and was told nothing was done and to call back XX/XX/XXXX which I did again and I was told that nothing again was resolved and they were going to expedite the claim. This is outrageous. BOA clearly states : The {$0.00} Liability Guarantee covers fraudulent transactions made by others using your Bank of America consumer credit cards and consumer and small business debit and ATM cards. To be covered, report transactions made by others promptly, and don't share personal or account information with anyone. I did exactly what they said and they still denied my claim.
