My lease was ended early by XXXX at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Texas due to 9-10 raccoons being in the roof which caused the roof to sink in with XXXX and XXXX. I was getting physically sick and saw a doctor 3 times. I called the Department of Environmental Health myself as XXXX at XXXX XXXX was not taking my claims seriously. The Department of Health did write a report that I have attached that there was XXXX and XXXX stains in the roof and even declared that it was all over the property making it hazardous as you will see in the documents ( they attached pictures but it was too big for this file, please let me know if I can send another way ). I had never paid rent late with XXXX at XXXX XXXX, I always paid on the XXXX of the month, and even when I was laid off due to COVID, I still paid rent on time, as I have always paid rent on time everywhere I have lived. I paid up until the day my lease was ended by them, XX/XX/XXXX, which was XXXX weeks short of a year with them ; I even paid the utility bill after it was sent to me after I had already left. XXXX at XXXX XXXX ended my lease and told me they would find me a new unit, and kept pushing the date back, and it went on for over XXXX weeks, knowing that I was getting sick and I wasn't sleeping. I was very scared for my health as the raccoons were getting more active due to the weather getting cooler. I decided to move to another place, and had no more obligation to stay at XXXX at XXXX XXXX due to the lease ending for apartment XXXX. I made a payment of {$420.00} to honor the days I was there up until the lease ended. XXXX at XXXX XXXX sent the amount for a full month of rent plus charges to a collection agency, XXXX XXXX international. I spoke to a representative, XXXX XXXX, at IQ Data International on XX/XX/XXXX who tried to insult my intelligence and became aggressively angry with me on the phone, and threatened that I would not be able to move on with my life as he was shouting it at me. After our call I notice an additional charge was added. I believe he tampered with the amount due to his anger and unprofessionalism.
