I have multiple account with Synchrony Bank. When I make a payment they do not post the payment in a timely manner. They wait XXXX business days. What they are doing is playing the float by submitting the ACH payment to my bank and waiting to post my payment until the payment is already at the bank. Just as when you walk into make a deposit in the bank and they post your deposit that day - Synchrony should be posting all payments in a timely manner, not delaying them as they are doing. Now if they want to delay the availability of credit that is within their rights, but they should be posting all payments in a timely and proper manner- not waiting until they have collected the funds from my bank. This is abusive and is hurting many customers.
