I had paid off a past debt at the beginning of the year with Portfolio Recovery. I asked if I had other debts with them and if they could mail me proof of these debts. I have not received any communication by mail only by calls from Portfolio. They just recently contacted a family member about my debts. This is highly inappropriate as that family member is not on any loans or has knowledge of my debts.
