I called Aidvantage about a CARES Act refund of payments on XX/XX/XXXX in the mount of {$27000.00} for payments made after XX/XX/XXXX. I have called back weekly for updates and get a different answer from customer service every time. First call, they said my refund request was approved on XX/XX/XXXX and would be processed in XXXX weeks. A few calls later ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I called and the representative said they just submitted the request for a refund and now to wait XXXX weeks from that date. I tried to email their customer service with more details and they claimed refunds are now taking XXXX weeks. I have seen no evidence that my refund request was actually submitted, as my student loan balances on both Aidvantage and through studentaid.gov have remained unchanged since first calling on XX/XX/XXXX. I'm at a loss for what to do, as I get different information seemingly every time I try to settle this with Aidvantage, and no one can even give me a straight answer as to when my refund request was submitted or how long it will take to process.
