A company named Security Credit Services which also seems to do business as XXXX XXXX has reported a fraudulent collection of {$960.00} to my credit report. I have tried to resolve this issue with them but they seem to outsource all of their work to a company named XXXX XXXX XXXX and there does not seem to be anything that company can do to resolve my issue. The original debt was created with a company named XXXX XXXX, XXXX on XX/XX/2021 by someone who impersonated my identity and committed fraud. I do not know who this person is and was only made aware of the issue when I found the collection on my credit report. I have since filed a police report with the XXXX XXXX Police Department in XXXX XXXX, Virginia. I have called XXXX XXXX in hopes to clear this up. I have called Security Credit Services to clear this up. I have shared the police report information and besides the fact that I have little idea how to navigate these companies, they are not able to help me clear this up and get the information off my credit report. Specifically, the people at Security Credit Services are rude and not interested in helping to resolve this issue. I have disputed this with each Credit Reporting Company including XXXX, XXXX and XXXX with mixed processes and mixed results. XXXX has deleted the collection account from my report. XXXX still doesn't believe they have enough information. I have not heard back from XXXX yet. These companies are really hard to work with in a modern world. They have archaic systems, their phones are set up to push you to postal mail or their website and they seem very interested in selling their protection services more than they do resolving issues related to fraud and identity theft.
