I would like to start by first saying thank you! This is not the first time I have gone to your service to report a complaint and the help was of great service to me. We had a problem where Bank of America closed my bank account as well as all debit and credit cards and held us locked to open any other accounts for 7 years, until we submitted a complaint and your service forced Bank of America to apologize, unlock our account, as well as fix our XXXX status so that we could open accounts again at any other bank. Rightly so, we left Bank of America and I was able to open a bank account as well as a business account at XXXXXXXX XXXX. However I still can not open a credit card with the bank or any others due to the first issue I had. Because Bank of America created the initial issue for me, blocking my account and thus not allowing me to pay off my credit cards as well as remaining/added debts, my credit score rapidly dropped during this period. Before this issue, on XX/XX/XXXX, we were able to open a credit card at Bank of America with no issues. When our account got blocked due to their error, on XX/XX/XXXX they closed my credit card with no explanation. We always paid off our cards on time with a perfect credit report history, up until the point of the banks severe error. My credit score dropped from XXXX to XXXX, and my wifes, XXXX XXXX, dropped from XXXX to XXXX. Once we opened our bank and business account at XXXX, I of course applied for a credit card as i am a business owner with a business account, both things going hand in hand. I got approved and had a credit card through them in XXXX of XXXX, and a month later the bank closed our card without any explanation. We contacted XXXX and they mistakenly opened a credit card for me, and to contact Bank of America as they created the initial problem for us. We did all possible attempts to contact Bank of America and to no avail with no answer coming back from them to date. Our credit since initially dropping has slowly gone up as we are responsible and 100 % on our payments for everything, however on XX/XX/XXXX we tried to open a credit card through XXXX once again, and were denied due to the bank previously accidentally giving us a credit card and then closing it on us. I am a business owner and for my career and company development i require having a credit card. Any reason that i can not be approved for one, is absolutely 0 % my fault and it is unacceptable that a banks error is pausing my career growth.
