I have been trying to get a refund from Aidvanatage for the last several months. I made the refund application the first day and was told 4-6 weeks, which was for the amount of $ XXXX. We are well past this mark now and I have reached out every week asking about the status of my refund, whether it is approved, and how much time is left till I should see it back on the student aid website. Every time I call I see to get different answers on how to proceed or if I should see it by X date. I feel like no one knows over there and they are just saying things to get me off the phone. I now call every week to see if I get someone competent answers and is able to help me. It shouldn't be this hard to check the status of the refund, seeing the status on my account or a simple email update telling me they actually did it and did it right would help more than they do.
