Consumer Narrative

on or around 8/17/2022 consumer debit cards were lost/stolen. the consumer contacted chase bank and reported the fraud XXXX new debit cards were ordered and the old ones were canceled. Numerous items were ordered in error ... i.e. XXXX atm- {$330.00} dollar charge XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX {$580.00} XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - {$30.00} XXXX. XXXX {$500.00} XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - {$500.00} Chase bank utilizes out-of-the-country customer service which limits communication and understanding of everyday life here in the states. The claims were all denied and the verbal reason given was that there were other charges not disputed. consumer advised that many of the charges that were not reported are ones that are automatically deducted from companies that utilize a saved credit card function. I was then told to send in more proof which I did. Not to mention that the charges were not in my area, and the major factor is that my funds are insured by FDIC up to {$250000.00} for instances like this. the consumer was turned down a second time without cause. Chase has placed great stress on the business of the client by not protecting the client.
