I opened up a highschool account for my daughter. 2 years ago it was changed to the regular checking account. I was not given any reminders when it changed over, as to am I still linked to her account. In XXXX my daughter started school at XXXX. She received an email through the school where someone offered her a job which turned out to be a scam. While the checks were pending my daughter asked that the checks be stopped by Chase who refused. Chase decided that they were going to make the checks available in good faith, so by daughter dispersed the checks that was deposited into her account before she realized that it was a scam. My daughter and I contacted Chase about XXXX times concerning this issue. We were told that they were locking her account for 10 days to see if those checks or others were going to through. Also we were told that the if she didn't pay the {$2600.00} overdraft within that 10 days that they were going to close the account. The last conversation was on XX/XX/XXXX. I looked at my account on the XXXX and found that the money was taken out of my account without prior alert. First I feel like there should have been some type of letter to let me know that I was still connected. Secondly we were lied to about what was to happen with the account. Thirdly I think that it's fair that I get my money back and contact made to my daugter to make arrangements with her to pay the money. That money that was taken out was for home improvements that underway.
