Yesterday ( Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX ), I bought a debit card from Netspend from XXXX. I put {$40.00} in the card. I tried activating it multiple different ways, one of them being through the website, the number, online, every number they provided for customer service and when I tried activating it over the phone they asked for my social security number, my gmail, my date of birth, my name, my address, and the number of the card. Right after I provided all my information, I was told I had to submit my personal documents like my social security number and my identification card to their email. I didnt understand what the reason was behind asking for my information and then saying that I had to submit my personal documents to their site right after I had provided all my information to the lady and had already payed for the card.
