My in laws pass away within XXXX month of each other. When we got to the car loan info going through their stuff, we communicate with Chase auto to inform the desire to keep the car and that we were in the probate process. We ask for the info on debt and how much we need to pay. They informed me I was not authorized to get info. I ask what need it to be done to get the authorization and they said nothing ( which it was a lie because I found out there was a process ) I beg to tell me any process to get authorization and informed of the probate process again they said nothing can be done. I made a payment blindly and XXXX weeks latest the car was repossessed for late payment. When I contact my lawyer he informed me that with an affidavit and a letter fro the executor I could be authorized. We did this in less that XXXX hours and after submitting the paperwork I was able to find out about the late payments. I complained about no been giving the info necessary to get authorized and they allow me to get the car back and said they will waved the repo fee. For XXXX years I have been paying the loan and asking why the fees are not wavered. They apologize and said will be taking care of. Finally we pay off the car and now they want me to pay the repo fees they said was waved for the last XXXX years. Every time I call the hang on or transfer me to XXXX different department and said it will be waved. Today I got a call saying that if I want the title of the vehicle I have to pay the fees. I informed them this was supposed to be waved XXXX years ago and they responded by saying nope, you have to pay the fee if you want the title. This is ridiculous and have put our family through XXXX for XXXX years as we grieve the lost of XXXX family members. I cant stress how hard this has been and now they are holding the title XXXX and stoping all the probate proceedings until we pay a fee they said it was waved
