I had an account at Jp Morgan chase that was closed due to possible fraud, after a frustrating process, they closed the account and states that the entire balance will be retuned to me. After they close the account, the bank returned only XXXX, I am missing about XXXX dollars. I have tried to reach out to Chase and all I have was the run around from the fraud department about why I am having a difference balance that was deposited into my account. When I called on XX/XX/2022, I was informed that this amount was supposed to be a check refund to me from the XXXX company of XXXX. I was informed that I was supposed to have 3 checks in the amount of XXXX dollars each. However, this is not the case. The XXXX dollar was a rent check that was made out to my mother, which deposited by mistake into my personal account under my own name. I have tried to resolve that issue with chase, but they insist on either my mother to verify the check or have the Tenant do a recall. I managed to have the tenant agree to do a recall, however her bank refused and stated they can only do a dispute which will take 3-6 months. I have informed chase my mother lives overseas and have no way of being able to verify that check unless they are able to contact, which Chase states they are unable to make international calls. I just want the XXXX that was owed to me, deposed into my account in the full amount. Chase has made this progress incredible difficult and have offered no assistance.
