Consumer Narrative

Checking accounts have been opened without my authorization on two separate occasions over a 2 week period at Bank of America. Bank of America states that they can lock my account and prevent new accounts from being opened fraudulently, but can flag the account. This has happened 2 times and the process to report the fraud and close the fraudulent account takes 3+ hours with endless phone prompts and wait times.
