I want GM Financial to provide a clear title to my car and send a release to the State of Illinois to have XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX removed from my title. Either obtain a release from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or provide a Certificate of Error indicating XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX should not have been added to title. GM Financial, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent the lease agreement to the State of Illinois, Secretary of State so that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would be lien holders. Because of the actions of GM Financial, my car title incorrectly listing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as lien holders. Background. I leased my vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX. My lease payments were arranged with GM Financial. My Lease Payments were made to GM Financial. My vehicle is a XXXX XXXX and was new at the time of the lease transaction in XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was also named as being involved in the lease transaction. I am not certain, but XXXX XXXX may have provided financing as a third-party so that the lease company could purchase the Vehicle. A search of the internet revealed that XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX & GM Financial are Partners XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are still listed on my registration & title as lien holders. I obtained a pay-off from GM Financial and paid-off the lease in full over two years ago. a conventional auto loan to pay-off the lease from XXXX Bank XXXX I refinanced my loan with XXXX XXXX in order to get a lower rate. My payment summary is as follows : XX/XX/XXXX Obtained Lease from GM FINANCIAL. Lease term was 39 months & the lease was paid-off early. XX/XX/XXXX obtained a pay-off from GM Financial for remaining balance to purchase the vehicle. XX/XX/XXXX opened XXXX XXXX account & Paid-off GM Financial Lease Agreement in full . XX/XX/XXXX Opened XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX & paid-off Chase Auto XX/XX/XXXX Chase Auto reported being paid-off Since XX/XX/XXXX I have had a car loan with XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX advised me that they have been trying to obtain a clear title since the account was opened and have not been successful. Attachments : Email summary sent to GM Financial.
