On XX/XX/2022 I received an alert from CFPB that my dispute was closed. Upon reading Portfolio Recovery Associates response to my validation request I discovered they totally ignored my request and did what they felt was sufficient. However, what they provided is NOT in compliance with the FCRA. The following is what I asked them to provide and what is required by FCRA. Sending me copies of bills does not validate this debt no matter how much they would like me to accept it. I asked for the following ..... 1 ) The description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information. 2 ) Name, address, and telephone number of each person contacted regarding this alleged account. 3 ) A copy of any documents provided bearing my signature, showing that I have a legally binding contractual obligation to pay them the exact amount claimed. 4 ) proof they are authorized to collect the debt. They failed to provide any of the above information.
