I have disputed with consumer reporting agencies back in XX/XX/2022 and sezzle verified this debt as accurate, despite proof. They continue to report a balance of {$150.00} when this has been paid of. I have written to sezzle with no resolution. Sezzle is reporting a balance owed when this account was sold to XXXX XXXX who collected the balance. I have submitted proof to sezzle in writing showing proof that this debt was paid in full. Sezzle has continued to blatantly disregard FCRA Laws by reporting inaccurate information even though they are aware and were given proof. Under the FCRA as a furnisher of information, they are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information that they're reporting. This is the " SECOND REQUEST '' with the CFPB as Sezzle has not responded to the first complaint in XXXX. I have disputed the inaccurate information with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX and they have continued to repeatedly verify the erroneous information. They are in violation of FCRA, 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2. Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate.
