On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to a local Chase branch and deposited two cheques that are endorsed to me by my parents. On XX/XX/XXXX, chase closed my checking account and they told me I cant get the cheques back and they cant issue the amount to me as well. They told me to contact IRS to reissue the cheques. On XX/XX/XXXX, we got the response from IRS saying that the check has been paid to the bank and denied the claim of check reissue. Today XX/XX/XXXX, chase said they cant help me further. The moneys still with chase and they wouldnt release the funds to me. The only way is to talk to IRS and tell them to recall the cheques and get them reissued. I have been going back and forth between IRS and chase branch to get my money back, but they both denied my claim.
