Portfolio Recovery has been calling me about a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card that was opened in XXXX as a result of identity theft. I had a relative living with me that used my information to open this account. I have disputed this several times with Portfolio Recovery and they continue to call. I have told them that I will not pay this and to stop calling. They will stop calling for a couple months and then start calling again in the same cycle. This has been going on for years. I have spoken to at least 15 reps at Portfolio Recovery and I tell them the exact same thing. Each time I disputed it comes back as a valid debt but I did not open this account. My aunt had access to all of my information and she did this. I have a police report to show this.
