Hello, On XX/XX/XXXX this year, someone hacked into my account at Citibank and issued wire transfer instructions. Citibank DID NOT verify such wire transfer instructions ( despite its promise to do so, as stated in its Citibank Client Manual ), thus causing devastating losses of {$65000.00}. I am a XXXX XXXX and this is almost all of my lifetime savings. I complained to Citibank some time ago but have not rec 'd my money back yet today. No one from Citibank had contacted me before the wires went out.This is particularly troublesome since : ( a ) I have NEVER ordered any wire transfer in my accounts ; ( b ) The payments were going to third parties, which made them particularly risky ; ( C ) The wire transfer amounts were substantial relative to the balances in my accounts, as they represent more than 90 % of my average account balances.
