Consumer Narrative

I had phone services with XXXX XXXX for about ten years and decided to switch providers in XX/XX/2022 to XXXX XXXX paid off the remaining balance on XXXX of my devices. i am now getting collections letter from XXXX stating that i owe them {$1100.00} for nonpayment when they agreed to port all my lines over from XXXX to XXXX. I kept the same numbers as i had with XXXX. the only way they would allow me to do that was to pay off my last bill, which i did, and were able to keep my phones and numbers. Now they are trying to charge something that was already paid.
