I opened a credit card with XXXX XXXX as the sales person offered a discount to do so. The charge was only {$35.00}! I had moved due to an environmental issue with our home and had mail forwarding but never received the bill to pay. I tried to pay but the account was closed due to late charges which I had never seen! I had contacted XXXX XXXX several times to pay the account off but told it was closed. I am very upset about this as it has severely affected my perfect credit score! This is the only XXXX mark on it! How terrible XXXX XXXX Citibank is! I now want a home loan and have to pay a higher interest rate because of this XXXX account! I would have gladly not opened the card if I had known how XXXX XXXX Citibank does this to people. Come to find out this is not the only case! People not receiving their statements and credit scores being affected! I am done with XXXX XXXX and Citibank. They need to be investigated!
