Deposited a check for {$150000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to my checking account at Bank of America. The check showed as cleared the checking account that the draft was written on the same day ( XXXX XXXX ). Bank of America has placed a hold on the funds for 9 days and says the funds will not clear until XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. The check cleared the next day and to my limited knowledge, the clearing process is 24-48 hours. A short hold is reasonable. This is not. Now my funds are in suspense.
