On XXXX/22 I received check # XXXX in the amount of {$1000.00} as payment from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. On XX/XX//22 I deposited said check to my Chase checking account via my mobile app. Moneys in the amount of the check were never released into my account and on XX/XX//22 Chase closed my checking account because they couldn't verify the funds from CHeck # XXXX which I tried to deposit check into. Upon contacting chase I was told that the check was flagged for fraud and that it was being held in a chase reserve account that I do not have access to. I contacted Chase Bank both in person and via telephone countless times and have not been provided a solution. Chase states that they need a verified phone number and all the numbers I have provided them doesn't match what they have in their system. I'm quite perturbed since the numbers I provided Chase with has been used for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX well over 15 years and can be found on the companies website as well. I have been told by Chase there is nothing more that I can do because the Fraud department doesn't speak to anyone or accept emails. XXXX, the representative I spoke to on behalf of Chase ( stationed out of a call center in Texas ) also mentioned that they can hold the funds up to two years and then the funds will be released to the state. I've also discussed with XXXX XXXX, XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the company retracting funds, however, because of the funds clearing, she was unable to grant my request. Attached please find the cleared copy of the check - on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Also attached is the correspondence XXXX presented Chase with. Please let me know if you need any other verification or documents.
