I had an auto loan with Prestige Financial back in XXXX. The engine died in XX/XX/XXXX and my warranty was not granted. I continued to make the payments because I didnt want to mess up my credit even more. Financially unable to continue to make payments, I stopped in XX/XX/XXXX. The account got charged off in XX/XX/XXXX. Once charged off it is continuing to report as " CHARGED OFF '' with an updated balance every month. I found a few inaccuracies and disputed this with the bureaus requesting to have the account DELETED due to inaccurate information and the account was not removed but updated. I called Prestige to resolve and was advised the account is CO but still accruing interest and they would not remove. I also received an alert that the account has been re-opened to which I am advised it can not be reopened once charged off.
