Good evening, I selected the topic of " indicating I was committing a crime, '' due to the 1099-B for a charge off of $ XXXX received by the IRS. Tax issues can be a crim This was from Robinhood over stock debt. The 1099-B was never sent to me, nor did I know about a charge-off. I have received a letter from Robinhood ( the alleged creditor, ) and XXXX XXXX ( a bank used at the time reported. ) XXXX XXXX is not part of this complaint and is not added as a respondent. Robinhood notified me in XX/XX/2021 that my information was compromised in a data breach. I also have received notification that XXXX XXXX experienced a data breach at the same time as Robinhood. I contacted Robinhood via email after being directed via their XXXX customer service. I told them who I was, my name, address, and phone number. They wrote me back wanting my SSN, DOB, and a few other items. I did not want to send that information as they have IT vulnerabilities. I did not want to call them because I didn't want to. So I asked them if they could match up the information they have from me with an account. They stated that they could not. I asked them to contact the IRS to remove the 1099-B by using the information they have from me to find the 1099-B that was submitted. They still refused and wanted me to provide information to assist them in correcting their mistake after allowing my data to be exposed. That is with all due respect to the entire company itself.
