I received notification that all my account with Chase will be closed. Including checking and XXXX credit cards. I have never been late on any of my payments, and do not have any idea why they closed my accounts. Mostly pay off the card in full each month. When I call the bank they will not provide a reason and just read off a generic message. I do not understand how Chase gets away with closing accounts for no reason, destroying peoples credit and don't provide an opportunity to explain whatever their algorithm deemed dangerous or whatever. I completely understand if there was something illegal done, but I have not done anything wrong or illegal. I demand an explanation! And CFPB needs to investigate Chase for their practices that harm peoples credit. Just in my circle of people I know at least XXXX other people that this has happened too. That's way to many people for this to be a random act. As one of the biggest credit providers in USA, Chase can not and should not be able to have a say in just closing down accounts for whatever reason they see fit.
