XXXX of XXXX signed up for a vacation club membership totaling {$7200.00} while visiting XXXX. Shortly after reading several XXXX complaints online, realized this company was known to be fraudulent and not providing services to their customers as promised. Was informed we could cancel said membership @ anytime as long as the services were not used ( which they were not ). After much back and forth with the company, they refused to cancel the membership and stated they would not refund the money either. At this time I decided to file a dispute with Chase Bank over the charges. During, still trying to communicate back to the company and get the issue resolved. Sent many emails, with very little response back and was promised many calls ( no one ever called ). As i opened dispute with Chase Bank ( last ditch effort ), as they requested, I provided ALL email correspondence, dates/times calls were promised ( which no calls were received ) and my cancellation letter i sent to the other company. XX/XX/XXXX, Chase sent a letter say the charges were VALID and they would close the dispute accordingly. At that time, I reached back out to Chase and had the dispute reopened as I would try and rebuttal their decision. Chase Bank promised a call to discuss the reopened dispute asap, that never happened. XX/XX/XXXX, received another notice from Chase Bank stating, yet again, they are closing the dispute as valid charges. I contacted them today, XX/XX/XXXX, talked to a supervisor and was told that the dispute should've been filed differently buy a dispute specialist and that since it's been so long since the original dispute was filed, there's nothing they can do to help. At this point I am at a complete loss. Can not turn to my financial institute to help support their customer and the company I purchased from WILL NOT come through with services promised and they just will not contact me back about any resolutions.
