Consumer Narrative
I opened a new checking account and took a picture of my check on friday XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX and the next day, Saturday XXXX became avail to withdraw. I called a couple times and asked why only that much and I was told because my account is still under 30 days old. Ok, I understand I get it. I called back asked when it would be avail because it was already cleared from the company and taken from the company account. I know this because I work for my girlfriends family doing demolition. The bank told me it would be available to withdraw on the XXXX on a Tuesday 11 days later. I complained about getting paid again befor I even have that money available to me and it has cleared with the company already so I was unclear of why they had to hold it for so long. I called so much they then told me it would be available Saturday the XXXX. Friday the XXXX I had 2 payroll checks one for over XXXX and one for {$380.00}. I didnt want to take the chance of not having anything avail from the check over XXXX I decided I would take the chance on the {$380.00} check so I took a picture and deposit it into my checking account and at this time it made {$10.00} available out of that check available, so at this point I have deposited over 2000 into this account and only had access to {$10.00}. Saturday morning the XXXX finally available to withdraw. I had one of my vehicles towed for sitting in a parking lot on Sunday the XXXX so I went to take money out at a atm to get the vehicle out which was going to be {$450.00} to release and then tow back to the place it was taken from. I hadnt set up a pin yet because I had only made 2 deposits to this account so I went to the atm attempt to do my pin and it kicks my card out and tells me to contact financial user. So I called them on a Friday and they told me fraud had put a hold on it and wouldnt tell my why and transfered me to the fraud department. I was put on hold for 2hr and 38 mins and a automated voice came on saying to call back during business hours. I call back Monday morning and attempt to figure this out and Im told its because of a check they need to verify and told me they had tried to contact the owner of the company and left them a voicemail. I then called the owner and she had nothing in her voicemail or any calls. I tried all day to get in touch with someone while at work in heavy equipment only to be put on hold all day for at one point 1hr and 40 mins to just have the lady on the other line say she could only have me on the line for another two mins and then she had to disconnect the call. I told her to put me on hold for the two mins and when she ends the call Ill just call right back to sit on hold again and she told me ok. I couldnt get ahold of anyone all day after call after call after call after call. My vehicle is now going to be charged more to get out and my account is still locked. I told them multiple times about my vehicle being in a tow yard and I needed it fixed asap and still got nothing
