In XX/XX/2021, Synchrony Bank conducted an investigation which proved the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX issued by them was a fraud, and the letter they sent me that I sent to XXXX stated as such and that the account was removed, cleared my responsibility, and notification to the three credit bureaus. However, XXXX refuses to remove the hard credit inquiry because it only lists the account as fraud, which makes zero sense because the account being opened required a credit check that caused the hard credit inquiry. I contacted Synchrony Bank, and they refuse to send a new letter stating permission to remove the hard credit inquiry because they have a " we issue only 1 letter '' rule.
