On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a XXXX XXXX Bankruptcy, in which my loan was reaffirmed with JP Morgan Chase .The reaffirmation agreement amended the terms in my XXXX modification agreement. My annual Percentage rate of interest was 2.3750 % variable prior to bankruptcy 2.3750 % fixed rate with the reaffirmation agreement. I did not realized that Chase was not applying the correct interest rate until XXXX of XXXX, when I started the process of refinancing my mortgage. At that time I reached out to Chase to rectify this error. I submitted the reaffirmation agreement which clearing shows that my interest was reaffirmed at a fixed rate. I requested multiply times a refund of overpayments which they applied toward my interest, and for last three months I have been going back and fourth with their escalation team and received no resolution. They have been applying an interest rate of 4.750 % and it should be 2.3750 %. I am now requesting a refund for the overpayment.
