I received a letter dated XX/XX/22 regarding 3 accounts Phoenix Financial Services purchased. The letter stated that I had until XX/XX/22 to respond if I needed additional information related to the debt. After doing my own research, I determined that I need account detail because I believe that the accounts were already paid off. One account listed I was able to tie back to a paid in full letter the other 2 accounts did not have any recognizable information. I mailed a response on XX/XX/22 to request additional information. To date no information has been received. However, I received a notification that Phoenix Financial Services added 2 collection accounts to my XXXX Credit report on XX/XX/22 despite my letter stating that I had until XX/XX/22 to request account information. On XX/XX/22 I mailed another request via USPS priority mail w/ tracking to request the information again. The letter that I received is deceptive and damaging. Ive worked extremely hard to pay off outstanding debt to have this happen. Adding the debt to my Credit report before the date on the letter is a form of harassment in my opinion. No one wants to see collection accounts on their report or have their credit report impacted.
