XX/XX/2022. My social security was deposited into my account at Citibank. I received an email and text message stating that a {$400.00} XXXX transaction was pending for a man that I didnt know. I called the bank and spoke with a rep and let her know that I didnt authorize that transaction and to cancel it and was told that it already processed even though it was in processing and that it couldnt be stopped. I was told that I needed to submit a claim which I did and then I was told to open a new account which I did also. My uncle sent me money to the new account and the man that stole the {$400.00} tried to steal the {$200.00} that was going to the new account. Citibank closed both of those accounts down and opened me up a new account. I have contacted the bank to see about getting my money back and nothing. I have contacted the bank several times. I have spoken to the head fraud investigator XXXX XXXX and still I havent gotten my money back. XXXX XXXX advised me that Citibank has had several customers hacked within the last few months and they are working on the problem, but I still havent gotten my money back. It has been exactly 30 days now from XXXX and still no resolution.
