Received my credit card statement from Citi and a charge for {$7800.00} was listed on XX/XX/2022 for a company called XXXX out of XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted Citi customer service and notified them that my card had been hacked it appeared.They went through my charges and found where whomever had hacked account had tried to charge the same amount a week later but had been red flagged and never went through the second charge.They referred the case to their fraud dept for review.Someone contact me and asked several questions in regards to my card XXXX noticed when receiving my recent statement that they had added the charge back on to my balance after it had been removed.I called Citi back and notified them about the issue and asked why it hadn't been resolved.They said it would be resubmitted to fraud dept.I haven't heard anything since this response. I contacted the company XXXX concerning the fraud charge and last e-mail wasas follows XXXX XXXX, Thank you for your patience! You are receiving this automated email as your request is currently with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX team and youve been waiting several days for a resolution, likely beyond the original expectations provided to you by our support staff. Your business matters to us and were diligently working through an increased number of requests at this time. There is nothing more you need to do on your end but we wanted to assure you that your request is still active and we will address it with the same urgency and importance as the merchants were currently helping. I would like to have this pursued by the CFPB and get this fraud claim resolved Thank you XXXX XXXX XXXX
