Dear Team - I want to highlight and escalate an issue I am not receiving any help on. Bank involved - Chase Credit agency - XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022- I applied for a XXXX XXXX Chase Credit Card. And there was a HARD INQUIRY on my credit report XXXX XX/XX/2022- I receive a letter to call Chase as they need some information to continue the review. XXXX XX/XX/2022- I called Chase ( phone no - XXXX ) and I was told that they just need to reconfirm some details which will NOT lead to a 2nd credit pull. I re-stated that if they need to re-apply/ re-pull my credit file - I DONOT want the card. this was all on a recorded line. UNFORTUNATELY- the team initiated a 2nd credit inquiry on my file while i was on the call. THis is a gross misrepresentation and error on part of the bank- which will impact my credit score and my finances. I called XXXX and they say I have to speak with the bank Chase tells me they cant do anything. COuld you please help me!
