I wrote Chase Bank to dispute two charges, one of {$1600.00} and one of {$400.00} to my debit card account made on XX/XX/2022. The charges are in error because I was victim of a scam, I trusted my bank, Chase bank, to process, verify, approve, and RELEASE the funds of a check that was deposited on XX/XX/2022, with the amount of {$3600.00}. Once I see that the bank approved the funds and that they are in the available balance, I trusted everything was verified by Chase Bank. That is when the previous charges were made. However, seconds after the disputed charges were made, the bank returns the check. Using then funds out of my account that were not meant for these charges. I want to know why the bank decides to take out funds that were supposedly already processed, verified, and shown AVAILABLE in my balance. Making me be an easy target to be a victim of scam.
