A balance transfer was inadvertently mailed to citbank that should have gone to another bank. The bin on the card belongs to citi but the card is not serviced by them. I have called repeatedly to try and get he funds returned back to the issuing bank or to the customer to no avail. The check was mailed on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$2400.00}. The check was cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. I have a copy of the cleared item. I can even tell you what account it was credited to. Every time I call we are advised that someone will look into the matter and follow up. We have emailed, faxed and called. I have been calling in since XX/XX/XXXX. Each time customer service refuses to escalate the situation. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX provided case number XXXX stating XXXX would contact me within XXXX bus hours. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX advised he would contact me with a supervisor after holding to XXXX the call dropped XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX escalated call to XXXX who told me to keep faxing never provided any fax number before ending the call. A fax was sent on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX. Attention : XXXX XXXX I have also faxed the payment research numbers provided by customer service XXXX & XXXX. We have attempted to call XXXX and left voicemails at XXXX # XXXX. I have emailed XXXX. We have tried to resolve this payment issue. I just need the funds returned back to the sender.
