I have XXXX promotional offers 0 % interest with my Citi Best buy card. One that is set to expire on XX/XX/XXXX and one that is set to expire XX/XX/XXXX. On the promotional offer that expires in XX/XX/XXXX that had a balance left of {$100.00} we made extra payments to clear the balance. During the month of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX we made 5 calls to Best Buy XXXX credit card - asking them to apply the extra payments to the older promotional offer - each time we are told they take care of it. TODAY XX/XX/XXXX we talked again with another supervisor as we still have a balance of {$29.00} - after again making an extra payment on XXXX to clear the balance and it still went to the newer promotional offer. They told us again that is taking care of - if the balance is not cleared we are going to be charged over {$800.00} in deferred interest. It is unacceptable on what CITI is doing and how they have not been able to assist us. They are in breach of XXXX XXXX act and not applying the payments toward the oldest promotional offer.
