XX/XX/XXXX Purchased travel. Deposit paid using Chase, amount : XXXX. Travel was to take place XX/XX/XXXX. Disrupted due to Covid lockdowns. I agreed with the seller ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX ) to postpone to XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX Covid lockdowns, could not travel. I agreed to postpone to XX/XX/XXXX. Covid do not travel alert ( level 4 ) from State Department. I tried to get a refund form XXXX and XXXX was denied. XX/XX/XXXX I sent an email to Chase regarding a chargeback. This email was processed as a chargeback without allowing me to provide any details. I called Chase they could not allow me to speak with anyone regarding the complaint. Reason provided : back end. A few weeks later I received a letter stating my complaint was denied due to the charge being over 2 years old. I sent a letter explaining the situation and to reopen the case. Received no response.
