I signed up for an XXXX XXXX trial using a Citi Rewards+ credit card. XXXX XXXX is a software service that charges {$29.00} per month. I cancelled my XXXX XXXX trial before the trial period ended, and should not have been billed. Instead I was billed for XXXX straight months, resulting in charges on XX/XX/2022, XX/XX/2022 and XX/XX/2022. I never authorized any of these charges. I first contacted XXXX to explain the situation, and the representative I spoke with said they couldn't even locate the account that was associated with the free trial, and that I should not have been billed. They said because they couldn't locate the account using my credit card information, that I should dispute the charges with my bank because I never authorized these charges. I disputed the charges with Citi. They removed the late fees and interest but upheld the charges, which makes no sense because I never authorized these charges and XXXX doesn't even know what account is associated with these charges. Now I can't even close this credit card because this is outstanding. Citi needs to reverse these fraudulent charges and allow me to close this credit card account to protect me as a consumer from more fraudulent charges from XXXX. The way they have conducted themselves throughout this process is entirely unacceptable and I will never use a Citi product again in my life. Please help me reverse these fraudulent charges with Citi and close out this credit card. Thanks, XXXX XXXX
