This issue is separate from the other two previously filed claims against Chase Bank. This is a new one in response to their response to me, claiming that they closed my account due to excessive claims. One of those claims were called in over the phone where I stated someone had booked a XXXX XXXX XXXX in California claiming to be me. I even offered to send to them the itinerary which was given to me by the hotel after calling them. They then sent me a new card as a preventative measure. When I first learned of my account closure on XX/XX/22 I asked if it was in regards to this so I could provide them with the proper explanation and they stated no reason was given and that my accounts were simply closed at the discretion of the bank. I asked if it was regarding my claims filed so I could assess to provide documentation if needed, but was never given that opportunity. I believe that this is discrimination and if the response to this complaint by chase bank is continue with the termination of my relationship to them and to keep my accounts closed I will now be pursuing legal action against Chase Bank and will then follow up with them with an attorney to file suit, if my account is not reinstated. As a XXXX man I believe this was due in course to discrimination. Thank you!
