I have proof that my payment was made many days prior ( 9 days ) however, XXXX XXXX XXXX delayed sending the payment out to Chase. Unfortunately, I am the middle whos Credit report is affected. Please take a look at the timing of the payments that were deducted from my personal account. Thats date was XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX excuse that was explained to me was that they couldnt send it in a timely manner the due to the fact that the chase due date fell on a weekend. How is that my problem? It was only my responsibility as the customer to make that payment XXXX XXXX XXXX in enough time so that the process can take place. And thats exactly what I did. As a matter of fact, I started the process on XXXX XXXX weeks prior before the chase due date of the XXXX. But for reason unknown to me, Chase kept denying the payment and the program, and the 2 companies couldnt agree on the terms. Unfortunately, Im the person who has to bear the weight of a mistake that XXXX XXXX XXXX made. Whether or not it was a mistake, the bottom line is it affected my credit in a negative way. As you can see, my payment history is stellar, and as a veteran, this 30 day error prevents me from obtaining my VA loan.
