I opened a checking account online & it told me I was approved. I got the welcome package paperwork & received a debit card & an ATM card. I set up direct deposit with the company I've been working at for 17 year. It was deposited into my new Citibank account but when I called to activate it, they told me there were some identity issues but would not let me provide anything other than the driver 's license and social security card I provided when opening the account. They told me they were moving the money over to savings & that I have to wait 30-60 until my account closes & then another 15 business days before I will receive my money. This is unacceptable because it is their fault. They could have rejected the deposit & sent it back to my employer. It has now been a month with a XXXX XXXX XXXX child, and I still don't have my paycheck. Nothing is being done.
