On XX/XX/XXXX, there was already a person trying to replace my debit card in the XXXX XXXX Chase bank and it cost {$5.00} on my card for the express delivery fee, but this action was unsuccessful. On XX/XX/XXXX, someone deposited a fake check with an amount of {$2300.00} and transferred {$1500.00} from my daughters account to my account. Then, this person went to the bank with my ID and withdrew {$3000.00} right away. The signature on the withdrawal slip was different from my signature. The Chase bank employee didnt double check the signature on the withdrawal slip with my signature and gave the money to the unknown person. Before this event happened I already warned the Chase bank and told them to make a note about if anyone wants to withdraw money, must show both my green card and ID. Its the banks employees issue that they didnt check my notes on my account. At the moment we found out our money was gone, we had contact the bank directly. But they didnt ask for anything just tell us to wait for the investigation results. Suddenly, the chase bank ask us to had the police report in order to continue on the investigation. After a long process, we fax the police report in one of the Chase bank, then they just tell us to wait. We tried to call in every few weeks and the answer they gave us was our case already close and it wont be reopened again because we didnt provide the police report within 60 days. This is unfair and irresponsible because none of the employees had mentioned this in the pass before and all the time when we called in they always gave us a perfunctory response.
