Consumer Narrative

I had an account with XXXX XXXX that was supposed to be ineligible for overdrafts. When the first stimulus checks were sent out they closed my account because it had been overdrawn without my knowledge. I contacted them and was given the run around multiple times. Finally received a call saying they could not reopen my account and that I owed them money. I then opened a bank account at Bank of America and the same thing happened. They were second chance accounts which I understood could not be overdrawn for any reason but yet both of them allowed the transactions to process and then closed my account and refused to help me fix the problem. I still receive notices from Bank of America that are account statements even though I am unable to access the account information whatsoever. Now I am unable to open an account anywhere because of their reports of irresponsible use.
